New Weekend Calls For A New Binge List!

October started with Dussehra and Durga Puja. With the festive vibes all around this month, even OTT platforms have a tonne of offerings for you. Maja Ma, starring Madhuri Dixit, and, to our astonishment, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, both films premiered on OTT this week.

1. Solamante Theneechakal

The two police officers Suja and Glyna serve as the film's major protagonists. One of them works at the local police station, and the other is in charge of traffic. On a popular Instagram page, they both post reels. Their commanding officer's death is soon revealed when he expresses his intention to marry Suja, altering the course of events. The movie demonstrates how Suja is placed in a difficult situation as a result of the case being probed by CI Solomon and how they both attempt to escape it.

2. Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga

Two childhood buddies develop hate for one another after an incident, and this dislike carries forward into adulthood. Their affections for one another begin to swell as they decide to reconcile and enrol in the same medical school.

Three college friends are welcomed and given lodging by teacher Kishore Kumar. Years later, they run into each other again as they assist their instructor through a medical emergency, allowing them both the chance to patch up their failed romantic relationships.

4. Hasan Minhaj: The King¡¯s Jester

Hasan Minhaj is an Indian-born American comedian, author, producer, political analyst, actor, and television host. Minhaj is back with new stories about fertility, meeting Saudi officials, parenthood, and free speech in his new comedy special. He explains that his main goal is to move fluidly between sincerity and satire and to rely on the audience to recognise the difference.

5. Eesho

The movie's main character is a con man who robs an ATM and fools a watchman. He was known for portraying several characters in the movie, and he still does. A gripping action thriller, it is.

6. Karthikeya 2

Karthikeya 2, a mystery action-adventure story, has a lot to offer. As instances of the nation's beautiful diversity, the video explores Hindu mythology and depicts the hills of Govardhan, the lanes of Dwaraka, the desert of Bundelkhand, and the rivers of Himachal Pradesh.

7. Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan's narrative, which was centred on Delhi, benefits from the small-town setting that is so characteristic of Aanand L Rai¡¯s film. It tells the story of a brother who does everything in his ability, regardless of the size of the dowry, to marry off his four sisters, only to learn later that the practice has a negative impact on women's lives.

8. Maja Ma

The character played by Madhuri Dixit is a Gujarati mother of two who leads aartis, is the dancing queen of her Vrindavan Society, and is a wonderful wife. She confesses to being a lesbian after a screaming match with her extremely liberal and demanding daughter. The truth is disclosed to her entire family, as well as her neighbours and, most horrifyingly, her son's future in-laws.

9. Laal Singh Chaddha

Laal Singh Chaddha, a Bollywood remake of Forrest Gump, doesn't have a particularly shocking plot, but it has other strengths. The story alternately imitates and remixes Forrest Gump's essential components, such as the flying feather, the running sequences, the narrator's first love, and the substitution of the chocolate box with Laal's golgappe. The film states its intentions up front, paying Forrest Gump the utmost respect but taking a different path.

10. Trick Or Treat Scooby Doo

Halloween is in danger from terrifying doppelg?nger ghosts, so Scooby and his buddies must act to stop them. A new Scooby-Doo film has debuted, and not only does it star everyone's favourite crime-fighting crew, but it also confirms Velma's sexual orientation as a lesbian and her crush!

11. Feels Like Home Season 2

12. The Midnight Club

Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong are the creators of the interesting and engaging series. It is based on Christopher Pike's book, The Midnight Club. It is set in the 1967 Los Angeles suburbs and centres on the Zander family, who make a fortune by defrauding clients out of money by pretending to be in touch with their deceased loved ones. Alice, who is struggling to make ends meet, thought it would be a good idea to add an Ouija board as a new gimmick to their seances.

She has no idea that after utilising the board, an evil ghost that possessed her youngest daughter, Doris, was contacted. The movie explores how the family interacts as they try to cooperate, often at the expense of one another.

13. Grey¡¯s Anatomy Season 19

Another fresh season of the drama that won a Golden Globe has begun. Meredith Grey will be working at Grey Sloan Memorial with a group of fresh medical personnel in one of the longest-running shows. Kim Raver, Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, and others are featured in the show.
