She hopes that if her husband Hamza stops drinking, he will change despite getting beaten every other day. Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma all collaborated on its production.

The synopsis read, ¡®When a series of women are found dead in public bathrooms under mysterious circumstances, Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with leading the investigation. As the case unravels she begins to suspect that the seemingly clear-cut suicides may be the work of a serial killer on the loose, triggering a riveting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop.¡¯
In order to achieve what the role needs, Vijay says that he worked closely with the costume designer. He said, according to Filmfare ¡°The outfits were very meticulously designed. The costume designer, Smriti Chauhan, worked very closely with me, because I felt and wanted to base my character on a reptile-like energy. So all my shirts have a vertical pattern on front or back to create an illusion like a chameleon or a snake. This is one of the improvisations that I did with my character, apart from digging deeper into watching crime-thriller documentaries suggested by Reema to understand the psyche of Anand.¡±
