Predator: Killer of Killers OTT Release Date - The Predator franchise is going in a whole new direction this time, animated and set across different periods. Titled Predator: Killer of Killers, this exciting new movie is all set to stream on June 6, 2025. You can catch it on Hulu if you're in the U.S., and on Disney+ (JioHotstar in India) if you're watching from outside the U.S.

What is Predator: Killer of Killers all about?

Unlike previous Predator movies, this one isn¡¯t a single story but an anthology, which means it¡¯s made up of three short stories. Each one is set in a different time and place, and each features the Predator facing off against warriors from that era. Basically, the film explores what happens when the Predator goes head-to-head with some of the fiercest fighters in human history.

Here are the three stories:

1. Viking Age: A fierce Viking warrior and her son are out for revenge, but they cross paths with the Predator.
2. Feudal Japan: A ninja and his samurai brother are in the middle of a power struggle until the Predator crashes their fight.
3. World War II: A pilot in the middle of war stumbles across something far worse than enemy planes - yes, the Predator.

Team behind Predator: Killer of Killers

Predator: Killer of Killers is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the same filmmaker who gave us the well-received Prey in 2022. He¡¯s working alongside Josh Wassung to bring this animated version to life. The animation is handled by The Third Floor. The writing is done by Micho Robert Rutare, based on a story he crafted with Trachtenberg.

Why is it animated?

Good question. According to Trachtenberg, animation gave them more creative freedom to tell these larger-than-life stories. He¡¯s also said that the action in this film is very graphic and intense, which works well in animated form. So yes, while it's a cartoon in style, it¡¯s very much not for kids. The voice cast of Predator: Killer of Killers includes Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Rick Gonzalez and Michael Biehn (yes, from Aliens and The Terminator)

Predator: Killer of Killers is just the beginning of the franchise¡¯s expansion. Later in the year, a live-action movie titled Predator: Badlands starring Elle Fanning will be released in November 2025. So if you¡¯re a fan of the Predator universe, there¡¯s a lot to look forward to.
