Rakshasa¡¯s plot summary
Rakshasa follows Sathya, a suspended cop who gets pulled back into action when a strange case leads him to a police station. While investigating, he accidentally releases an ancient demon, the Brahmarakshasa, from a sealed box. This sets off a deadly chain of events, trapping Sathya and others in a time loop where they are forced to relive terrifying moments over and over again.
As the demon¡¯s power grows stronger, the situation becomes more dangerous, and Sathya realizes that breaking the loop is their only hope. To stop the cycle, Sathya must confront his dark past and uncover the truth behind the demon¡¯s curse. With every repetition of the loop, the stakes get higher. The film blends supernatural horror with suspense, as Sathya races against time to survive and save those trapped with him.
Rakshasa¡¯s cast and crew
Other than Prajwal, Rakshasa also stars Sonal Monteiro, K S Sridhar, Arna Rathod, Vihan Bastin, Shobhraj, and Vatsala Mohan among others. Produced by Deepu B S and M V Radha Krishna under the banner of Shanvi Entertainments, the haunting music of Rakshasa is composed by Varun Unni and B Ajaneesh Loknath. Cinematography is handled by Jebin P Jacob, while the editing by C Ravichandran ensures all elements are tightly woven in the movie.
