The Diplomat OTT Release: John Abraham¡¯s upcoming is a thriller scheduled to hit theatres on 7th March 2025. Directed by Shivam Nair, the film is based on a true story and has already locked its OTT deal. After its big screen run concludes, The Diplomat will be streaming on Netflix with its satellite rights being sold to Sony MAX. Here¡¯s everything you need to know about the film!

The Diplomat is produced by Bhushan Kumar, John Abraham, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma and Rakesh Dang. Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, JA Entertainment and Wakaoo Films in association with Fortune Films, the film is co-produced by Shiv Chanana, Minnakshi Das and Rajat Bedi. Written by Ritesh Shah, The Diplomat will be distributed pan-India by Panorama Studios.
John Abraham recently dropped the first-look poster of The Diplomat which featured him looking sharp in a suit. Sporting a classic chevron moustache and the intense glare, the poster had the line, ¡°A true hero needs no weapons,¡± written on it. The post was captioned, ¡°Honoured to bring this story of courage and diplomacy to life. See you in theatres on March 7th.¡± John will be stepping into the shoes of a high-ranking government official in this film.
Recently during a promotional campaign for his last film Vedaa, John Abraham spoke about his upcoming projects on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. He said, ¡°I want to make entertaining films and something in geopolitics because I am interested in that. My upcoming films like Tehran and Diplomat are outstanding films. I want to package them in an interesting way and show it to the audience.¡±
