Plot
According to Deadline, Margo Martindale's character Ruth Landry is the focus of The Sticky. A maple syrup farmer named Landry encounters difficulties when her livelihood is threatened by bureaucratic authorities. She chooses to try a theft because she is determined to preserve what she values. A peaceful security guard from Quebec (Guillaume Cyr) and a Boston mobster (Chris Diamantopoulos) accompany Ruth. They conspire to steal the maple syrup reserve in Quebec.
