The all-and-all action flick is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, whose screenplay adapts the 1997 American film Breakdown. If you are wondering where to watch it on OTT then, Vidaamuyarchi will be streaming on Netflix after its theatrical run concludes.
Vidaamuyarchi's plot summary
Arjun (Ajith Kumar) and Kayal (Trisha) are on the verge of divorce, twelve years after their dream wedding, and decide to take one final trip together as a couple. Having drifted apart over the years, they are seeking an amicable separation. During their journey, their car breaks down in the remote wilderness of Azerbaijan.
There, they encounter truck drivers Deepika (Regina Cassandra) and Rakshith (Arjun Sarja), who offer to take Kayal to a nearby caf¨¦ while Arjun works in the car. However, when Arjun arrives at the caf¨¦ after dealing with a minor car issue, he is stunned to find that Kayal is missing. The film then follows Arjun's desperate quest to find his wife and decoding the mystery of her disappearance.

India Today rated the film 3/5 and a part of their review read, ˇ°Vidaamuyarchi is not the usual run-of-the-mill commercial action entertainer but a full-blown thriller that does justice to the genre. While the screenplay doesn't rely on stardom, it falls flat in many places due to its formulaic approach. Some of the twists land, while others don't. Vidaamuyarchi lacked an emotional arc and some solid twists and turns. While it remained true to the film's genre, it could have had more gravitas.ˇ±
