Viswam OTT release date Prime Video: When to watch Gopichand and Kavya Thapar-starrer Telugu action comedy
After a brief run in the theatres, Gopichand and Kavya Thapar¡¯s Telugu actioner is all set for its OTT debut. Here¡¯s everything you need to know about the film including cast and plot ahead of its Prime Video premiere.
Gopichand and Kavya Thapar's latest theatrical release Viswam will soon have its OTT debut. The movie marked the return of filmmaker Sreenu Vaitla after a long hiatus and was able to make a decent profit at the box office. As per an OTTPlay report, Viswam will premiere on Prime Video on November 1 followed by an official confirmation on Diwali 2024.
Viswam plot
The movie¡¯s plot revolves around a man named Viswam who returns to India from abroad to defend his father's honour. While uncovering the antagonist, Khureshi's terrorist plot, he parallelly falls for Sameera. In his journey for justice, Viswam also happens to protect a murder witness named Darshana from Khureshi's men.
Made on a budget of Rs 30 crore, Viswam managed to slip into a profit zone due to its post-release rights. Gopichan¡¯s action-packed performance especially in a perfectly crafted train episode will leave your heart asking for more. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the audience, majorly in the B and C centres of the Telugu states loved the movie largely making it an all-and-all successful venture.

The film has been produced by Venu Donepudi, T. G. Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Kondal Jinna under the banners of People Media Factory and Chitralayam Studios. Viswam is written by Gopimohan, Bhanu-Nandu and Praveen Verma. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj and Bheems Ceciroleo with K. V. Guhan as cinematographer and Amar Reddy Kudumula as editor.
Other than Gopichand and Kavya, Viswam also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil Varm, Pragathi, Shaam, VTV Ganesh, Vennela Kishor, Srikanth Iyengar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Prudhvi Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Karumanchi, Ajay Ghosh, Chammak Chandra, Shakalaka Shankar, Master Bharath, Gundu Sudarshan, Gautam Raju, Raghu Babu, Vajja Venkata Giridhar and Iyal among others.
