After entertaining audiences in theatres, Shreelesh S Nair¡¯s latest Kannada film has found a digital home. Pepe is available to watch on Prime Video from October 11 onwards. This action thriller arrived in the theatres on August 30th this year and has a 2-hour and 6-minute runtime.
Plot
Pepe revolves around the clash of two groups divided by a stream. Standing against the dominant community, which includes three generations of upper caste, the downtrodden villagers, led by a hero, challenge their oppression. They together brew a fight over the right to a river source and the right to live a dignified life, among many other things.
Pepe is surely worth watching for cinema lovers interested in exploring the Kannada film space experiment in a new territory. The film is violent, and stylish and offers a flavourful platter in perfect proportion to devour. The action sequences are the star of the show with music that will leave your heart humming for a long.

Written and directed by Shreelesh S Nair, Pepe stars Vinay Rajkumar, Mayur Patel, Kaajal Kunder, Medini Kelamane, Naveen D Padil, Yash Shetty, Sandhya Arakere, Aruna Balraj, Shashidhar Bhat, Raviprasad Mandya, Kitty Sridhar, Shashidhar Bhat, Bala Rajwadi, Aruna Balraj, Sandya Arekere, and Shivu Kabbanahalli, among others.
The music of Pepe has been composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi with Abhishek G Kasaragod taking the cinematographer¡¯s seat. The film is edited by Manu Shedgar and is jointly produced by Uday Shankar S and B.M. Sriram Kolar under the banners - Uday Cine Venture and Deepa Films.
