Anurag Basu Announces ¡®Metro¡ In Dino¡¯; Here¡¯s All You Need To Know About This Pritam¡¯s Musical
Anurag Basu is all set to return to his director's seat with Metro In Dino starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan in lead. Here's what more you need to know!
Filmmaker Anurag Basu who is best known for helming projects like Jagga Jasoos, Barfi, Murder and Kites is all set to take up the director¡¯s seat again. He along with his ensemble team has announced an anthology titled 'Metro...In Dino'. Presented by Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film will have the master of musicals, Pritam taking care of the tunes.

Giving the screens a fresh breath of pairing, Metro In Dino will feature Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan together for the first time.
Sara and Aditya together shared a picture on their Instagram which was captioned, ¡°Super excited and grateful to be part of #MetroInDino. Shoot begins soon!!!¡± The film will also feature Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh among others.
It is not to be assumed that 'Metro... In Dino' is a sequel to Anurag¡¯s 2007 film ¡®Life In A¡ Metro¡¯, which also had a song named ¡®In Dino¡¯. The filmmaker in an earlier interview spoke about this and told TOI, "It is a film with an ensemble cast just like Ludo and Life In A Metro. It will have a mix of known and new faces¡ Right now we're juggling with dates.''
Reportedly, this film will showcase the bittersweet tales of human relationships based on contemporary times. This yet-to-begin-shooting film also features Konkana Sensharma who worked with Anurag in Life In A Metro (2007). Anurag on his Dias has also helmed projects like Saaya and Tumsa Nahi Dekha.

Spilling some beans on the anthology, director Anurag Basu said in a statement, 'Metro¡ In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people. It has been a while I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me!¡±
