Kalki 2898 AD, starring actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas, was one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, was released in June and has since been in the headlines for different reasons. In an interview with So South, production designer Nitin Zihani Choudary has now revealed some fun facts that you surely don't want to miss.

Nitin said there are six other such complexes in Africa, Europe, America, and other parts of the world. He added that all the complexes are led by their own Yaskin.
Who is Yaskin?
According to Nitin, Yaskin, a character shown in the film Kalki 2898 AD, plays a crucial role in the story. Refuting all rumours about Yaskin ever since the film was released, Nitin said Yaskin is not the mythological figure Kali. He said he was one of the fallen gods assigned to oversee a complex in Kaasi.
In the Kalki 2898 AD film, it was revealed that a superpower known as the Complex controlled natural resources such as water and fresh air. The Complex was ruled by a despotic administration led by the frightening Supreme Yaskin, who ensured that individuals in the outer world lived wretched lives.

The character of Supreme Yaskin was performed by the legendary Kamal Haasan, and while the fans didn't get to see much of him in the film, they are hoping for more in the sequel.
