Karan Johar sets the record straight on Ozempic rumours amid weight loss transformation: 'Being healthy and eating well'
Karan Johar has finally reacted to those Ozempic rumours amid his dramatic transformation. The filmmaker responded to an X user who had cited Maheep Kapoor's comment to accuse the filmmaker of Ozempic use.
Karan Johar's leaner, sharper and fitter-than-ever look has been grabbing eyeballs over the past few months. The filmmaker is one of the many celebs across the globe whose shocking transformation has set tongues wagging, with rumours of potential consumption of Ozempic, a weight loss drug, swirling in the air. In his recent Instagram post, Karan addressed these rumours head-on, clarifying his weight loss is a result of 'being healthy and eating well', not Ozempic.
Karan Johar sets records straight on Ozempic use
Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories to address a claim made by an X(formerly known as Twitter) user, accusing the ace filmmaker of using Ozempic, a drug often associated with fast weight loss. The X user had cited Maheep Kapoor's comment from Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, where she hysterically slammed those consuming Ozempic for the rapid result, saying it has caused a shortage of the drug for diabetic patients, for whom it was originally developed.
¡°Maheep rightly called out people for using Ozempic for fast weight loss and driving it out of stock for people with diabetes. Hope she calls out Karan Johar too, the producer of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives," the X user wrote.
Responding to the accusation, Karan clarified, "Being healthy and eating well and reinventing the wheel of your nutrition! Aur Ozempic ko Mile credit ???¡± He also tagged Maheep and asked, ¡°Did you mean me???"
Maheep reshared the post with several laughing emojis, but Karan reiterated, "You¡¯re laughing? I¡¯m offended." Maheep, once again, couldn't contain her laughter, and called Karan a "crazy man," posting some more laughing emojis.
