Aamir Khan's much-awaited movie Laal Singh Chaddha trailer has finally hit the digital platforms on Sunday, May 29, 2022, but, a certain group of people are unhappy with what the 3 Idiots actor has done with his role.
To those who are unversed, Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of one of the most-popular Hollywood blockbusters tilted Forrest Gump, which was released in 1994 starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. Soon after the trailer launched digitally, Forest Gump started trending on Twitter.

While some Aamir Khan fans liked the latest movie trailer, a section of unhappy social media users trolled Aamir Khan for his performance in the film. Users on social media have accused Aamir Khan of copying Tom Hanks in his upcoming movie.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote that Aamir Khan's film is an unworthy remake. "#ForrestGump nhi ye forest dump hai...Aisa ghatiya trailer #ForrestGump is one of the best movies ever made and this looks like just sh*t. Not even one scene is watchable of this.

However, the trailer gives us glimpses of beautiful landscapes of Ladakh and extravagant constumes worn by the actor. Many others claimed that Aamir Khan's look in Laal Singh Chaddha was more like a mixture of the Dhoom 3 character Samar and PK. Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is adapted for Hindi remake by Atul Kulkarni, while the original screenplay was penned by Eric Roth.
Both Advait Chandan and Aamir Khan had collaborated for the 2017 drama Secret Superstar. Laal Singh Chaddha also features Kareena Kapoor opposite Aamir Khan as the lead female actress while Mona Singh and south actor Naga Chaitanya plays other key roles. The film is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
