Prabhas' Adipurush Look As Lord Ram Is Out, Internet Says Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu' Looks Better
Internet users claim Ram Setu looks better than Prabhas' Adipurush as makers unveil a new poster of the actor as Lord Ram.
Makers of Adipurush have unveiled a new poster of the Prabhas starrer in which the actor is seen in the avatar of Lord Ram. The poster was released on the occasion of the Telugu star's birthday a couple of days before Diwali.
It shows Prabhas walking on the Ram Setu while his army walked behind him.
Sharing the poster via his official social media handle, director Om Raut wrote, "Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shree Ram (sic)." The poster went viral on the internet and much like Adipurush's teaser, the new poster of the film saw a mixed response from the audiences.

Our fans can make better edit than this ? worst posters from adipurush team, you can just post trailer shots instead of this low class editing ? pic.twitter.com/ymfXMj5W4P

Adipurush got entangled in controversies because of its VFX effects as according to some people, the looks of Ram and Ravan were strange. The film also landed in legal trouble for allegedly offending the aesthetic sensibilities of religious sentiments of the people as they claim the film depicts the 'Islamisation of Ramayana.'
Even politicians and actors like Mukesh Khanna have reacted strongly to Adipurush's teaser claiming it misrepresents the Hindu mythological tale.
Adipurush, which stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, and Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, is scheduled to release in theatres on January 12, 2023. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu and other dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar's Ram Setu is set to release on October 25, 2022. The film also stars, Nushrratt Bharuccha as professor Gayatri Kulshrestha and Jacqueline Fernandez as Dr. Sandra Rebello alongside Akshay Kumar, who plays an archaeologist.
