As Prabhas Performs Ravan Dahan On Dussehra, Ayodhya Ram Temple Priest Demands Ban On Adipurush
While Prabhas performed Ravan Dahan on Dussehra in Delhi, Ayidhya Temple Priest demanded a ban on his controversial film Adipurush. Meanwhile, an animation studio has claimed that posted of the film is copied from their work.
There seems to be no end to the controversies surrounding Om Raut's Adipurush. After people demanding a ban on the movie and calling it a disgrace for Indian culture, now Ayodhya Temple's chief priest Satyendra Das has also onjected to the portrayal of Lord Ram, Hanuman and Ravan in the movie, thus demandind a ban on the Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer movie.

"Making a film is not a crime but they should not be made to create deliberate controversies to hog the limelight," he said as per Hindustan Times.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Dussehra, Prabhas turned into Lord Ram and performed Ravan Dahan. After participating in the special aarti, he took the bow and the arrow and performed Ravan Dahan ritual channeling his inner Lord Ram. He burnt Ravan's effigy at Lav Kush Ramleela in Delhi.
The video of the same is doing the rounds on social media. "He is my shree Ram," said a fan. Here's how others reacted to this.

Adding to the raging hoopla, now an animation studio, Vaanarsena Studios, has claimed that the poster of the movie has been copied.
"Such a shame T-Series films, should mention the original creator who developed the artwork," the Instagram story by the studio read.
"It¡¯s disappointing to see our work being copied like this. But over the years, it¡¯s happened so many times that it¡¯s just funny at this point. We don¡¯t see the point of fighting this as we¡¯d rather focus on bringing you guys awesome content and continue on building that road. But maybejust maybe, the word will spread :)", it added.

Meanwhile, reacting to the massive trolling on the movie, director Om Raut admitted that he was disapointed but at the same time he said he was not suprised. Defending his film, he said that the larger-than-life movie is made for theatres and not small screen. Furthermore, he said that if he had the option, he wouldn't have ever released the teaser or trailer on YouTube. He asserted that the movie is not made to watched on mobile phones.
Adipurush is Om Raut's third project after Subodh Bhave's Lokmanya: Ek Yugpurush and the Ajay Devgn-starrer Tanhaji. The film also stars Kriti Sanon as Sita. The movie is slated to be released on Jan 12, 2023.
