¡®Salman Khan Is Not Criminal Minded,¡¯ Actor Prakash Raj Hails His Wanted Co-Star

Actor Salman Khan enjoys a fan base which doesn¡¯t only include commoners but celebrities like Kangana Ranaut and Ayesha Jhulka. Recently his co-star Prakash Raj opened up about Salman¡¯s image in public amidst the general notion of him being the ¡®controversy king¡¯.

Prakash who shared the screen with Salman in Wanted (2009) and Dabangg 2 (2012) expressed what a ¡®darling¡¯ person he is.

During a conversation with Lallantop, Prakash Raj said, ¡°He is a darling. Salman is a very easy-going person and I like his company. He is not afraid of anyone and he is not criminal-minded¡±. He added that the actor doesn't care if the budget increases by 10-12 crores, but "aaram se karo, aate hai khaate hai, baat karte hain...fir kaam karte hain."

The National Film Award-winning actor further shared, ¡°Salman Bhai will never get old. He¡¯s a kid at heart. I have done 2 films with him now and he is such an amazing person. He has helped many people in the industry and is a very chill person. He has lived a beautiful life and he has an amazing fan base."

Prakash Raj who worked with Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap (2011) also talked about him.

He said, ¡°Amit Ji is an institution and I just love his presence. He is like a tree under which we all have grown up and have learned so much. He has stayed over and he is like the biggest pillar of the industry. He has shown the common people¡¯s and labourer¡¯s anger after the industrial revolution in the country and I am very happy that this country has witnessed his greatness. I just love him¡±.

Raj who is quite vocal on matters related to politics lately talked about how his views have affected his work.

He told Hindustan Times, ¡°It is getting affected. Now, some people don¡¯t work with me not because they have been told not to. But because they are worried ¡®they¡¯ may not approve. I am strong and rich enough to lose all that. I always feel my fear will be somebody¡¯s power. Now, I know who is who.¡±

¡°I feel more liberated because if I had not raised my voice, I would have died being known just as a good actor because of my roles. But not because of who I am. But doing so comes with a cost. I can afford it. A lot of other actors are silent and I don¡¯t blame them because they can¡¯t afford it. They¡¯ll be pushed and there is no point for them to tolerate that. They won¡¯t survive. It¡¯s not as if they are wrong,¡± he added.
