Actress Radhika Apte, who dare to do bold scenes or even go nude in films such as Parched, has revealed that she got emotional after filming Vikram Vedha Hindi remake.
According to reports, the actress, who is known for donning unconventional roles in her film career, will be seen playing a key character in the official remake of 2017 Tamil action thriller with the same title.

Revealing that she shed her tears after she wrapped up the shoot of Vikram Vedha, Radhika Apte told Navbharat Times, ¡°When I watched the film, I really liked the thought behind it. At the time, I was writing something similar - how we see things in white and black and raise fingers. How the world is becoming less tolerant each day. Vikram Vedha talks about these things in a very commercial manner."

She further went on to say that when she met the directors, she became their fan. "They are unique, I have not met such a couple. They have one Facebook account and they do everything together. I talked to them for two hours and really enjoyed it. So, I thought working with them will give me more time with them,¡± Radhika Apte expressed. Helmed by Gayathri and Pushkar, Vikram Vedha stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Yogita Bihani and Rohit Saraf.

Radhika Apte Shares She Has More Scenes With Saif In Vikram Vedha
Speaking of acting with Saif Ali Khan, the 36-year-old actress shared that she had worked with the Race 3 actor on two other projects, however, had only few scenes in those films. "I have more scenes with him in this one and I enjoyed doing those," Radhika Apte expressed adding that Vikram Vedha is a big film and she needs a big commercial movie at this point of her career.
"I cried because it was only a 12-day shoot"
"Though, I refused a few big films because I did not agree with their sensibilities. This was a big film that matched my sensibilities so I agreed to do it. I enjoyed doing the film so much that I cried after the shoot ended. I cried because it was only a 12-day shoot," Radhika Apte recalled.
Vikram Vedha is slated to hit the theatres 21 days after the release of Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra on September 30, 2022. Radhika Apte has four projects in the pipeline including Vikram Vedha.
She will be next seen in Monica Oh My Darling, Mrs Undercover and Forensic where she dons the khaki uniform for the character Inspector Megha. Forensic, which is a psychological thriller also starring Vikrant Massey in the lead is set to premiere on ZEE5 on June 24, 2022.
