He also responded to the entire incident after there was a lot of anger, but let's say that it didn't help. In a recent statement, the singer claimed that he did all of this because he needed to please his fans and that this is all an outcome of their enthusiasm for their favourite performers. 'Ye sab deewangi hoti hai,' he commented. This statement only added fuel to fire with people now saying that he¡¯s ¡®creepy.¡¯

Udit Narayan gave a statement to Hindustan Times after the controversy erupted. In it, he said that fans are crazy for their favourite stars and that they often give a kiss on the hand and come in for a handshake. He also said, ¡°yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye."

In a part of his statement, he also said, ¡°I have been in Bollywood for 46 years now, my image hasn¡¯t been such In fact, I fold my hands when I see the love my fans shower on me, while on stage, I bow down, thinking phir aaj ka yeh waqt laut ke aaye na aaye."

Udit Narayan has gained so much respect throughout his career.

Udit¡¯s statement went viral in no time and it left people shocked. His comment was shared on Reddit by a social media user and it made people call the singer ¡®creepy.¡¯ He was also associated with the line ¡®aapki voice me bohot saadgi hai par aadmi suar ho¡¯, which was previously used for Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

Reacting to the statement, one wrote, ¡°All those words and he couldn't make a single valid point. Everything that happened in that clip was beyond justification.¡±

Another went to add, ¡°Fan inke deewane, yeh fans ke deewane too much fun.¡±
