After Insurance, Akshay Kumar Is Now Rooting For Recognition Of Stunt Artists At Award Shows

Be it launching a website and app for promoting smooth monetary donations to the family of deceased army men or rooting for equal rights for stunt artists, Akshay Kumar has ensured that valid steps are taken to execute his ideas.
Akshay was present at the event where they were launching a special insurance scheme for all the stunt artists working in Hindi Film Industry where he expressed his views on stunt artists and choreographers being accorded as much respect as heroes at every award ceremony.
Expressing his opinion on the same, an agency report quoted the actor saying,
"I am a stuntman first before an actor. For 10 years, I worked as a stuntman in Hindi film industry before getting the opportunity of acting. So I know how stuntmen risk their lives to earn their bread. I know what it takes to risk their lives to entertain us. So I think they should get equal respect even at the award shows for their work."
Akshay and renowned cardiac surgeon, Dr. Ramakanta Panda of Asia Heart Institute, announced the insurance scheme that covers around 380 stunt artists between the age of 18 to 55 with a death compensation of Rs 10 lakhs. Emphasizing the importance of the insurance, Dr. Panda was quoted saying,
