Akshay Kumar Provides Sanitary Pads & Kits To Female Daily Wage Workers, Urges People To Donate
Once again on Menstrual Hygiene Day, the actor announced his support to a campaign that provides sanitary napkins and kits to the female daily wage workers. With that, he has urged other people to donate too.
Akshay Kumar who starred in a movie based on menstrual hygiene is still hailed as Padman. He shattered a lot of stereotypes when he, as the hero of the movie, had put on a sanitary pad and squatted several times to ensure that it sits just right,
Since then, he has come forward several times to help this cause. On Menstrual Hygiene Day, the actor announced his support to a campaign that provides sanitary napkins and kits to the female daily wage workers.
"A great cause needs your support. COVID doesn't stop periods, help provide sanitary pads to underprivileged women across Mumbai. Every donation counts," he tweeted.
