As Kangana Ranaut was honoured with Padma Shri Award, the fourth highest civilian award in the Republic of India, recently, Alia Bhatt sent her congratulatory note and flowers.
Sharing the pictures of the same, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel wrote on Twitter, "Yeh Dekho Alia Ji ne bhi Kangana ko Phool bheje hain, Kangana ka pata nahin Magar mujhe bahut maza aa Raha hai" (Look, even Alia Ji has sent flowers to Kangana, don't know about Kangana but I am enjoying a lot).

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut who has been at loggerheads with Karan Johar, especially after she kickstarted the debate on nepotism after she called him the "flag bearer of nepotism", congratulated Karan Johar on his Padma Shri win too.
¡°I heartily congratulate him. I think he totally deserves this award. As a producer, the kind of films he backs, whether it is Kesari or Good Newwz, are commendable, as is the position he has worked to achieve. Even though his father gave him a head start, he has risen to the top because of his own efforts and merits," she was quoted as saying by India Today.
Alia, meanwhile, has won the hearts of the audiences.
