One of the most popular and sought-after singers in the country, remember when Arijit Singh was mocked by Salman Khan for dressing up in casuals and wearing chappals to an award show? As he came up on the stage to receive the award, Salman said in disbelief, "Tu hai winner (You¡¯re the winner)?"
He even wondered if he had dozed off during the event. Arijit Singh in response said, "Aap logon ne sula diya." Music director Mithoon supported Arijit Singh at that time.
