During one of his live concerts, he took a dig at Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 controversy and said, "They say someone is ruling the internet... They only showed my reaction, they don't show action... but it's okay." While he neither mentioned the show or anyone's name, fans are convinced he was talking about what happened on the stunt-based reality show.

Asim Riaz and Rohit Shetty controversy
For the unversed, Asim Riaz had kicked up a storm with his strong reaction on the reality show. Following an argument with Rohit Shetty over a stunt that he couldn't perform, he challenged the crew of the show to perform it as he though the stunt was impossible to finish. When Shetty showed him the rehearsal video of the crew, he said, "Sir, there's no problem. I am very sorted."
That is when the host of the show stopped him and said, "Kal bhi tune bohot bakwas ki thi". As Asim tries to say something, Shetty tells him, "Sunn, meri baat sunn le, varna main utha ke yahi patak dunga. Do not misbehave with me."

As seen on the show, instead of backing down, Asim charges at him, which worries other contestants who tries to stop him saying he was disrespecting the host. As Abhishek Kumar tries to stop him, he tells him, "Don't f**k with me. I'm 31 years old and have been in the industry for 15 years. Who are you talking about? You just got famous," he said. The actor asked him if he was jealous and Asim shouted, "No, I am not. Everybody is famous. Joh shaurat maine dekhi hai na, kisi ne nahi dekhi hai."
As things go out of control, the crew intervenes, but Asim Riaz doesn't stop. He tells them that all the buzz around season 14 is because of him. He also makes it clear that he didn't sign the show for money. "I change four cars within six months. Do you think I need that money? It is for the fans I was here, not for these losers." Asim walks out in anger and thereafter he is expelled from the show.
