Actress Ayesha Takia, her sister-in-law and mother-in-law have been reportedly receiving threatening messages on whatsapp. They are being harassed by a litigant in the wake of an ongoing case. Her husband Farhan Azmi who was also recently accused of cheating by his former business partner Kashif Khan in an FIR lodged with Bandra Police, brought this to limelight via social media.
Farhan, who is the son of renowned Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi, accused DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya of illegally freezing Ayesha Takia¡¯s account, ignoring his calls and refusing to file his complaint, in a series of tweets.

Furthermore, explaining the entire situation, the Azmi family told Timesnow, ¡°Today morning, he (the litigant) somehow got Ayesha¡¯s number. So long he did not have Ayesha¡¯s number. Now he is messaging her on WhatsApp and saying, ¡®You and your husband will be in jail very soon. In ten days the Police are going to pick you up¡¯. He¡¯s intimidating her. He¡¯s also intimidating Farhan¡¯s sister who is seven-month pregnant.¡±

On being asked if the family has received any response from the police, an insider revealed, ¡°(Joint Commissioner of police) Deven Bharti just called Farhan. He said, ¡®Don¡¯t Worry. No one will touch you. I also insist you go and get a restraining order from the court.¡±
