If you were ever in love, he was with you. If you broke up after that, he was with you. If you found friends for life, he was with you.

KK, you raised a whole generation around the world. #RIPKK
KK¡¯s voice was a coming of age for so many 90s kids. We sang Yaaron at school farewells, casually played Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai when we hung out with our crushes, daydreamed about the people we loved with Ajab Si, and tripped over our own hearts with Khuda Jaane. All to his voice.

KK went on validating the hollowness of the emotions we felt through phases of adolescence. Now the same songs & emotions will make it so difficult to heal from this loss.Unrequited love, farewell to schoolmates, special moments gone by will have more than one reason to cry for.
