Bollywood's much-awaited movie Brahmastra starring newly wed couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and South star Nagarjuna is all set to hit theatres on September 9, 2022.
While fans await to see India's own Marvel-like movie, they are quite excited to get a glimpse of the characters as makers recently released the teaser of Brahmastra.
Now, the makers have dropped another teaser from the much-anticipated upcoming Hindi film and that is none other than Amitabh Bachchan's look with his Prabh¨¡stra - The Sword of Light.

Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji took to his official Instagram handle to share the first look of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. Sharing the poster where the veteran actor can be seen holding the Sword of Light as it illuminates and radiates blue light the director wrote, "GURU ? and his Prabh¨¡stra - The Sword of Light."
Ayan Mukerji penned a long message with the post where he mentioned his first meeting with actor Amitabh Bachchan in 2016 and the time he discussed the film with him.
Speaking of why Amitabh chose to be part of his new venture, the director further wrote, "This blend of ancient Indian Spirituality and modern India - had really appealed to him, and to my great fortune, he agreed to be a part of Brahm¨¡stra..."

Shah Rukh Khan's Cameo In Brahmastra
Moreover, Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to make a comeback with multiple films also features in a cameo in Brahmastra. After the teaser was launched by the makers, fans started claiming that the trishul-wielding character spotted in the teaser could be SRK. However, there's no confirmation regarding the same.

Apart from this, the film's lead actor Ranbir Kapoor had earlier told Variety magazine that the movie attempted to ¡®create our own Marvel.' Brahmastra, which is a mythology-based fantasy flick will showcase Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, Hollywood debutante Alia Bhatt as Isha, Amitabh Bachchan as Guru or Professor Arvind Chaturvedi, and Nagarjuna as an archaeologist and TV's popular Mouni Roy as Damayanti.
