Se?orita Singer Camila Cabello is the latest international star who has appealed to her fans and followers to donate for India amid the "devastating" second wave of COVID-19.
"India is facing a devastating second wave of COVID infections and needs resources and support to help save lives," she says in an Instagram post.
"If you can, please help @jayshetty and @radhidevlukia raise $1M for @give_india and their generous sponsor @indiaspora will match it! Every dollar will be doubled so we can try our best to make a difference," she wrote.
Earlier, her boyfriend Shawn Mendes had also appealed to his social media followers to donate for the country. "If you've ever been touched by India's culture or India's people, just donate or share, or anything you can do to help," he said.
Other international stars who had appealed fans to come to India's aid include pop icon Katy Perry, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, The Big Bang Theory actor Kunal Nayyar, To All The Boy I've Loved Before actor Lana Condor, Game of Thrones star Richard Madden, actor Jada Pinkett Smith and YouTube star Lilly Singh.
