'Everyone Has Been Exposed, Public Has Understood', Zeeshan Ayyub & Sushant Singh On CAA
Zeeshan Ayyub thinks that with the ongoing protests everyone has been exposed and the common man has understood everything. Sushant Singh said that he stands in support of the ones who are going through troubles arising out of the CAA and the NRC.
The nation is standing together. The youth is awakened and how. It has almost been a month but the demonstrations against Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens have been going on.
Who would have thought that Bollywood too will take a strong stand this time -- Celebrities will take to streets to protest; Deepika will stand in solidarity against violence at JNU; Anurag Kashyap will demand to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi's degree and his father's birth certificate. It gave us all a reassurance when all celebs showed us they have a spine and surprised us with their brave stand.
With the Citizenship Amendment Act coming into effect on Jan 10, the political resistance is seemingly deepening. Bollywood actor Zeeshan Ayyub thinks that with the ongoing protests, everyone has been exposed and the common man has understood everything and the right-wing people cannot make a fool out of them by giving vague statements.
Disagreeing to the continuous statements put forward by the BJP government that CAA is not a hindrance to the citizenship, the actor further said, "Things are clear now, people have now understood the facts, the people and the intention behind are now exposed.. they can't make a fool out of common people any more."
"Home minister said something, the next day something else is being said in the Ram leela... people are getting confused. Earlier it was Hindu-Muslim propaganda, but that didn't work, so now you are making it a case between two political parties.. basically you are changing your own statements."

"Law is supposed to give the citizenship but the way in which the criteria have been changed is the trouble here, he added.
On the other hand, Sushant Singh said that he stands in support of the ones who are going through troubles arising out of the CAA and the NRC.
Giving the instance of Assam where the NRC has been implemented at the instruction of the Supreme Court, a visibly furious Sushant said, "If a foreign tribunal says that you are not an Indian, because they've (officials) written your name wrongly in every document or maybe the date of birth of your father is found to be different, where will these people go."
When asked about his take on the ongoing JNU Violence, Zeeshan Ayyub said the members of the alleged political party itself have come out and explained their part in the case and yet no action has been taken.
The actor finally said that people should develop a sense of humanity.
