1. Slapping Santosh Rai

Govinda back in 2008 slapped a struggling actor named Santosh Rai while shooting for Money Hai Toh Honey Hai in Mumbai. The incident led to Rai filing a complaint against the superstar that eventually reached India's apex court, the Supreme Court of India, after lower courts were unable to find any evidence against Govinda.
Later in 2015, the Supreme Court asked Govinda to apologise to Rai for slapping him and settle the whole matter out of court immediately.
2. Rejecting Avatar
For the people who are convinced Govinda was indeed offered a role in Avatar. Here¡¯s him saying that he¡¯s the one gave James Cameron the title of the film and couldn¡¯t do it because he didn¡¯t want to be covered in blue paint and shoot for 410 days.

Govinda has stated many times that he was offered Sam Worthington's role in the 2009 film Avatar. The Bollywood star said that he only suggested the title of the film to the makers, and he rejected the role as he did not want to paint his body blue for the role. These claims have been widely trolled on social media platforms, as none of the Avatar franchise has ever confirmed these claims to be true. In fact, former CBFC chief and film producer Pahlaj Nihalani subsequently denied Govinda's allegations.
Pahlaj, in an interview, said that the actor actually mistook Avatar with his unfinished Hindi film of the same title.
3. Rift with comedian nephew Krushna Abhishek
Rift between the mama and bhatija started back in 2016 when Krushna made a remark on his show that didn¡¯t go down well with Govinda. Krushna said, ¡°Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai.¡±
After this, time and again, Krushan has been talking about his relations with Govinda, but things never came back to what they were before, but Govinda did attend Krushna's sister Arti's wedding recently. The act by Govinda hinted things are much better between them, but guess not that normal.
4. Govinda left a film because of Salman Khan?

Govinda once claimed that he stopped working on a film because of Salman Khan. As per Govinda's claims, Salman Khan requested that he stop filming for the Judwaa movie. This interview by Govinda even started debate among the fans of both superstars on social media platforms like X (former Twitter) and Reddit.
There are also reports that the actors had a terrible fallout after Salman launched Shatrughan Sinha¡¯s daughter Sonakshi Sinha instead of Govinda¡¯s daughter Tina Ahuja in Dabangg.
