Guneet Monga's Speech At Oscars Was Unfairly Cut Off While Others Went On, Tiktoker Shows How
The Elephant Whisperers producer Guneet Monga's speech was unfairly cut off at the 95th Academy Awards.
Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves created history by winning the coveted golden statuette in the Best Documentary Short category at the 95th Academy Awards.
The two women has made the nation proud with their documentary 'The Elephant Whisperers', which tells the tale of a couple and an orphaned baby elephant, Raghu, and how their bond developed.
Both Guneet and Kartiki have become the talk of the town ever since winning the prestigious award with their dedication and hard work. Both of them spoke about the film and shared their feeling after winning the Oscars.
While Kartiki finished her speech on the stage, Guneet could not finish her words without interruhaveption after she took to the mike.
The signature Oscar music started playing in the background as soon as Guneet Monga took to speak.
The producer of the award-winning documentary had to forego her big moment at the Oscars.
While many discussed the same after the incident, a TikToker has clearly pointed out how Guneet was deprived of having her big moment on the international stage while other winners got their life's biggest chance to share their feelings.

In a video that has been doing the rounds on social media lately, TikTok user @/iam7evn sharing the same pointed out that although Guneet's speech was cut short, other award winners were not treated the same way.
There was a 45-second acceptance speech rule, but the video shows that the next set of award winners such as Charles Mackesy for the Best Animated Short
category and Matthew Freud for The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse, went on to speak for more than 45 seconds. But, their speech wasn't cut off.
