From our Chaats to Chole and Butter Chicken, Indian food is quite popular abroad. You might have come across people complaining how spicy the Indian food is. Despite this, people love to gorge on Indian cuisine.
They might call Samosa "potato-filled fried pastry", Pakoda as"Deep Fried fritters", Chole Bhature as "chickpea curry with fried flatbreads" and chaat as "spicy potato snacks", but the fact is they just cannot hide their love for desi dishes.

1. Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise recently dined at Asha Bhosle's restaurant in the UK and ordered chicken Tikka masala with extra spices. He was shooting for Mission: Impossible 7, when he took some time off from his schedule to enjoy "an authentic Indian meal". He liked the chicken tikka masala so much that he ordered it twice.
2. Will Smith
Will Smith called Indian cuisine the best thing he has ever had. "Last time I was here, I had a party and it (Indian cuisine) was the best food I had ever had in my entire life," he had once said. Talking about what he likes the most, he said, "My favorite is the chicken tikka masala. And five or six different kinds of naans (bread)."

Richard Gere's favourite is Paya, an Irani Soup. When he was in Udaipur for the shooting of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel 2, he gorged on Indian food and had a gala time trying the local cuisine.

Gates loves Indian food. In his blog, he had once mentioned, "I love Indian food. I have it for lunch at work pretty often and it¡¯s just great. But going to India is phenomenal. I probably eat far more than I should when I travel to India as it is such a great chance to eat the local food. In particular, I really like lamb curries and some of the chicken dishes."
