The 28-year-old singer has now become massively popular too. Born and raised in Colombo, Yohani is a YouTuber who is popular for cover versions of several songs.
Yohani De Silva had first created a TikTok video with just a piano sitting in front of her phone. That's when the producer of the song Chamath Sangeeth reached out to her and offered her to sing the whole song. When she recorded the song, the lockdown was on.
After the grand success of the song, Yohani is all set to perform in Hyderabad and Gurugram.
With her nine-member band, she will perform at Heart Cup Coffee, Gachibowli, on October 3. The tickets are available on Book my Show. She will also be performing in Studio XO, in Gurugram on September 30.
In an interview recently, Yohani said that she is eager to work in Bollywood, especially with AR Rahman.
