Even After Hurling Abuses And Getting Violent, Sidharth Shukla Is Still The 'Hero' Of Bigg Boss 13

Every year, Bigg Boss fans crib about the fact that Salman Khan is biased on the show. Does he have his favourites, or is he just being fair? We don't know. But a lot of people on social media think he chooses his favourites and sidelines others every season.

This season, Salman Khan's alleged favouritism towards Sidharth Shukla is making headlines. As the show is progressing, the judgement and opinions are not only forming inside the Bigg Boss house, but outside as well.

So much so, that last week, 'Biased host Salman Khan' was trending on Twitter. A couple of days ago, 'Sack Manisha Sharma' became a trend. Manisha, for the unversed, is content head at Colors, and she allegedly has a "personal connection" with show contestant Sidharth Shukla.

Not only the Bigg Boss fans, but creative director and actor Sandiip Sikcand also feels that Sidharth has been made the "hero" of the house. Calling the show a joke, Sandiip Sikcand tweeted, "I think even if Sidharth Shukla kills someone in the house, he would be justified and made to look like a hero."

So, is Salman Khan unfair? This isn't the first time that he has been accused of the same. In season 7, people accused him of taking Tanisha Mukherjee's side always. Earlier in the current season, a lot of people including ex-contestant Koena Mitra accused Salman of blatantly favouring Shehnaaz Gill. Now, people think he is biased towards Shukla.

Sidharth has had a lot of violent episode in the house, where he has pushed people. He has got nominated for two consecutive weeks twice inside the house. But is that all?

This time, when he hurled abuses at Asim Riaz's father in the recent episode, he left many fans infuriated. Many of them have been demanding his eviction. Some of the fans are upset with Salman Khan as well.

After yesterday's episode, Gauhar Khan also lashed out at Sidharth Shukla on Twitter.

Because Sidharth is making headlines for his aggressive behaviour, Varun Dhawan, his co-star from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, was asked about how Shukla in real life is. Did he create nuisance on sets of the show?

"Nothing of the sort happened on the sets," Varun told News18 and added, "I think that show is very different and what happens inside the house is also different. It's a reality show and it's better that we should take it as a reality show only. I know both Sidharth and Asim personally. I've worked with Sidharth in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and I've done Main Tera Hero with Asim. They both were extremely warm-hearted and well-behaved outside. I wish both of them best of luck for the show."
