India's Favorite Vamp 'Komolika' And Her Fans Get Nostalgic As 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' Turns 18!
Kasautii Zindagi Kay is one of the longest running shows of all time. The show recently clocked 18 years of release. The entire cast including the show-maker Ekta Kapoor and actor Urvashi Dholakia who played the iconic vamp on the show were full of nostalgia.
There was an era in the Indian Television history which is fondly remembered as the K-era. Ekta Kapoor took over the television industry and launched back to back shows that ran for an average time span of 7-10 years.
She didn't just change the face of Indian television industry but carved her own rules and yes, broke some too.
Most of her shows were way ahead of its time. From addressing marital rape to pregnancy out of wedlock, Ekta had her heart in the right place. One such show was Kasautii Zindagi Kay. It wasn't just a love triangle between Mr. Bajaj, Anurag and Prerna (Played by Ronit Bose Roy, Cezanne Khan and Shweta Tiwari respectively) but it went on to become one of the longest running shows of all time.
The show recently clocked 18 years of release and the entire cast including the show-maker Ekta Kapoor and actor Urvashi Dholakia (who played the iconic vamp) on the show were full of nostalgia. Urvashi Dholakia took to social media and wrote,
Fans could not control their feelings for the show and flooded the post with adorable messages for Urvashi.
Ekta Kapoor wrote,
