The show that started to premiere on Sep 10 is in its early weeks and already people are calling it fake, scam and scripted. It all started after Rito Raba's elimination from the show. The boy from the NorthEast has been ousted from the top 15 list and people are calling his elimination "biased" and "unfair".

Not just fans, Nagaland's Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs Temjen Imna is also disappointed with the decision.
He took to Twitter to laud his talent and express his disappointment. "Amazed by the immeasurable talents that our #NorthEast people have. Once again a son of the proud soil of #ArunachalPradesh have lifted the spirits of the Northeast and made it to the National Platform with his enchanting and melodious voice. More power to him."

The contestants who have made to Top 15 are Vineet Singh, Sanchari Sengupta, Rishi Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty, Shivam Singh, Sonakshi Kar, Navdeep Wadali, Senjuti Das, Chirag Kotwal, Kavya Limaye, Anushka Patra, Rupam Bharnarhia, Pritam Roy, Debosmita Roy and Shagun Patha.
Meanwhile, Neha Kakkar's new song O Sajna, a remix of Falguni Pathak's OG track Maine Payal Hai Chhankayi has caused a furore on social media. A lot of people including Falguni Pathak herself have dissed the new version. Even AR Rahman is against the remix culture that has taken over the Indian music industry.
