Action Director Tinu Verma Claims He Once Slapped Kapil Sharma And Threw Him Out Of 'Gadar' Set
Action director Tinu Verma has claimed slapping Kapil Sharma and throwing him out of 'Gadar' film's setm in a recent interview.
While there a many celebrities embroiled in cold wars with their B-Town rivals, some have made headlines for their open fights.
Recently, popular action director Tinu Verma, who had worked in Sunny Deol's all time blockbuster movie Gadar - Ek Prem Katha has revealed that he had slapped actor-comedian Kapil Sharma during the shooting of the film in Punjab.
The action director revealed that he threw Kapil Sharma off the film's set for not following his instructions. In a recent interview with Mukesh Khanna for his YouTube channel, Tinu recalled a scene from Gadar where people were supposed to run towards the train.
He said that they were shooting with a huge crowd and Kapil Sharma was supposed to run alongside the huge crowd they were shooting with. However, the then junior artiste, ran in the opposite direction not once but twice.
Tinu Verma stated how the comedian mentioned during one of the episodes of his comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show that he went to the sets of Gadar to perform as a junior artiste.
He further added that Kapil was the only guy out of the twenty-five thousand extras who could not follow his instructions and ruined the shot more than once. Tinu Verma got irked and slapped Kapil Sharma before firing him from the sets.

During the interaction, Tinu Verma also recalled slapping Saif Ali Khan. The action director said he slapped Nawab Saif Ali Khan in presence of actor Ajay Devgn while shooting an action sequence for the 1999 film Kachche Dhaage.
Tinu recalled that while filming a scene involving a train, Saif Ali Khan missed the cue multiple times and wasted a lot of time of the crew members including Ajay Devgn. Moreover, when he asked Saif Ali Khan why he didn¡¯t move after hearing him say ¡°action¡±, the actor responded saying that "he was enjoying the bumps in the train."
On the professional front, action director Tinu Verma has worked in - Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Himmat, Jeet, Raja Hindustani, Kachche Dhaage and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha among others. He is better-known as the shirtless villain Gujjar Singh in Aamir Khan-Twinkle Khanna's 2000 flick Mela.
