She captioned the post in Marathi which translates to, "My dream of taking you on a flight remained unfulfilled....but today I am content that I brought your saree and nose ring to the Cannes Film Festival by flight. Still mom! You were needed today. To see it all. Love you Mom, and miss you very much."
Chhaya shared photos from the French Riviera on Instagram. She posted a statement alongside the photographs, claiming that she had always wanted to take her mother on a flight but couldn't do so while she was still alive.

She wrote in Marathi, ¡°To meet for the Cannes Film Festival and spend half an hour chatting and strolling on the streets of France and finally taking a selfie means - In bahaaron mein dil kee kalee khil gayi, mujhko tum jo mile, har khushi mil gayi.¡±

Chhaya Kadam Talks About Her Cannes 2024 Debut
"I am very happy. This is a beautiful moment in my life and I am enjoying it without thinking too much about what's next," she said about viewers loving "Laapataa Ladies" and "Madgaon Express".
She went on to add, "I was a state-level Kabbadi player, so I thought about going in that direction. After some time, it shifted to owning a gym or joining the police force because I had the physique... People start their journeys in schools and college by doing theatre, but I entered the profession quite late," Kadam told PTI in an interview.
