The backlash comes on the heels of a similar situation involving Ritika Sajdeh, who also faced significant online trolling for her posts about international conflicts. Critics have accused these public figures of being silent on domestic issues like the suffering of Hindus in parts of the world and instead talking about international issues like Rafah.

Many Bollywood celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Triptii Dimri, and Dia Mirza, have shown their solidarity with Palestinians by sharing the viral phrase on their Instagram stories.
