A day after escaping the police summon, Mansoor Ali Khan finally apologised to Trisha and wished he could bless the actress at her wedding.

Days after saying that he would not apologise to actress Trisha for his derogatory comments, he has taken a U-turn. Mansoor has asked for forgiveness from Trisha and wishes to bless her when she gets married.
How did Mansoor Ali Khan apologise to Trisha?
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and shared Mansoor¡¯s apology. He tweeted, ¡°My co-actress Trisha, Please forgive me! May God bless the fortune for me to bless your Mangalyam (marital necklace, mangalsutra) as it goes around in the coconut tray in the auspicious marital ritual! Amen. - Mansoor Ali Khan."
After escaping a police summon on Thursday morning, Mansoor appeared before the cops in the evening.
Best known for his negative roles in Tamil cinema, Mansoor appeared in front of the All Women Police Station at Thousand Lights in Chennai. This came after the National Commission for Women filed a police complaint against him for publicly shaming and defaming Trisha.
What did Mansoor say to Trisha?
In a video that went viral, Mansoor was heard quoting, ¡°When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't show Trisha to me on the sets during the shoot in Kashmir."

After NCW¡¯s heads up, a case was registered under section 354 (intent to outrage modesty) and section 509 (uttering words, gesturing, or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) against him.
How did Trisha react to Mansoor¡¯s controversial remark?
The actress took to Twitter and expressed, ¡°A recent video has come to my notice where Mr Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste.¡±
She added, ¡°He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind.¡± Several other celebrities including megastar Chiranjeevi had condemned Mansoor¡¯s comments.
