Medha Shankar's versatility
Belonging to Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Medha started her career with modeling and television advertisements. She made her acting debut in 2019 with the British television series Beecham House, in which she essayed the role of Roshanara. In 2021, she starred in the Hindi teen musical movie Shaadisthan, which also featured Kirti Kulhari and Kay Kay Menon among other actors. She did the streaming series Dil Bekaraar thereafter. From comedy to drama, she showcased her talent with a variety of different roles.

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra recently revealed that Medha Shankar sang in her own voice in the movie. "She is actually singing on location. Medha Shankar, when I was casting, I wanted to cast a girl who could sing. In the movie, it is not Shreya Ghoshal¡¯s voice. It¡¯s Medha Shankar singing on location ¨C that¡¯s location sound."
For the unversed, she is a trained Hindustani classical singer. She completed her early education in Noida and did her graduation from Delhi University. She also holds a master's degree in Fashion Management from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi. Her mother, Rachana Raj Shankar, as per various reports, is a dance and play choreographer.
