Here's how people reacted to his 'misogyny' statement.
"He wants people to be triggered and give a befitting reply so bad," a user said. " Why is this guy himself plugging the word everywhere? He¡¯s making his intent so obvious," said another one. "Hahahaha! It¡¯s so obvious this guy wants validation so badly but ain¡¯t getting it. Money yes but no respect except from incels lol," wrote another user. "That hooting on the word misogyny is enough to know why there was no question about it," a fourth user wrote.
Meanwhile, Ranbir had said that his role in Animal reminded him of his father Rishi Kapoor.
"Whenever I met Sandeep Reddy Vanga, I always told him to give me a reference. I have never heard or felt like this. I think eventually subconsciously, I thought of my father, the way he used to speak, he was a very passionate and aggressive man," he had said as he launched the trailer of the movie last month.
Praising the actor Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, "Ranbir is a great actor, he is in a different league altogether. He is very original. I feel he is a mix of so many actors, it is wrong to compare to other actors, (But) I feel he is a mix of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Kamal Haasan. This man (Ranbir) has no limitation."
Animal showcases a story about a father-son relationship, played by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor.
