Over 1 Lakh Tickets Sold! Brahmastra's Advance Booking Breaks Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 & RRR's Record
The advance booking of Brahmastra has broken the record set by Kartik Aaryans-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and SS Rajamouli's RRR. The tickets price over Rs 2000 are sold out. PVR cinemas revealed recently that over 1,00,000 tickets have been sold already.
Despite persistent calls for a boycott on social media, Brahmastra has managed to create the right kind of buzz among movie buffs. Hailed as India's superhero universe, one of the most expensive and visually creative films, the movie sold over one lakh tickets before its release.
The advance booking of Brahmastra has broken the record set by Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and SS Rajamouli's RRR.
PVR cinemas revealed recently that over 1,00,000 tickets have been sold already.
The movie that also stars Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Shah Rukh Khan (in a cameo role) has broken the records set by RRR and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

As per a report on Bollywood Life, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 earned Rs 7 Crores from advance booking. It sold about 1.05 Lakh tickets before the release. On the other hand, RRR earned Rs 6.55 crore via advance booking and sold about 1.03 lakhs tickets.
Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra has earned Rs 7.80 crores already and is soon expected to hit the Rs 10 crore mark.
The tickets for Brahmastra are selling for as high as Rs 2050, and they are sold old at a cinema hall in Delhi.
The ticket price for Brahmastra at PVR Select City Walk (Gold) is Rs 2,100.
The ticket for IMAX 3D version is selling at Rs 2100 and it's sold out already.

Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has blocked rogue websites from streaming Brahmastra Part One: Shiva after allowing a suit moved by Star India in relation with copyright infringement.
"The rogue websites in order to make illegal gains make infringing copies and make them available for viewing, downloading, and communication to the public, almost simultaneously with the theatrical release of the film. In the past, infringing copies of several movies produced/distributed by Plaintiff were communicated to the public and made available for viewing and downloading, on various websites, within hours of the theatrical release," they said.
