'Global Solidarity Is More Important Than Ever', Says Priyanka Chopra At UN General Assembly
Actress Priyanka Chopra gave a powerful speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Global actress Priyanka Chopra, who is known to be one of the most ambitious personalities when it comes to her career, recently spoke at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. She shared how global solidarity is ¡®more important than ever' at the moment as ¡®all is not well' with our world.
Taking to her official Instagram account Priyanka Chopra shared, "Walking through the gates of the United Nations this morning to speak at UNGA for the second time, as a proud representative of @unicef, gave me real pause."

The 'Quantico' actress discussed the "top of this year¡¯s agenda" and highlighted mainly focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals.
"Today was all about action, ambition, and hope. It was about what we must do together to make the SDG¡¯s a reality, and we don¡¯t have a moment to lose," the actress further wrote in her social media post.

The 40-year-old global actress also went on to highlight the experiences she had as an ambassador of the United Nation and stated that she has had the privilege of participating in the Transforming Education Summit.
From her takings, she shared "it¡¯s hard to believe that nearly 2/3 of children across the low- middle- and high-income countries cannot read and comprehend a simple story. The system has failed them."
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador noted, "As the US Secretary of Education @seccardona put it so candidly, education is the great equalizer, but if we continue to do what we have done, we are going to get what we have gotten. We owe every child this basic birthright, an equal chance to learn and reach their full potential."

The actress further went on to quote Amanda Gorman and said, ¡°I dare you to shape our fate. Above all, I dare you to do good, so that the world might be great."
Moreover, Priyanka Chopra aka PeeCee also shared snaps from the UN General Assembly with young Pakistani activist and 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai alongside others on her Instagram account.
On the film front, Priyanka Chopra is all set to make a comeback with Bollywood actor-producer Farhan Akhtar's upcoming directorial 'Jee Le Zaara', which also features two of the most popular A-listers Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
Priyanka has acted in a couple of Hollywood films such as Baywatch, Isn't It Romantic, We Can Be Heroes, The White Tiger, and the latest The Matrix Resurrections. She also played the lead roles in Indian boxer Mary Kom's biopic, 'Barfi' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, 'The Sky Is Pink' with Farha Akhtar and 'Bajirao Mastani' with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone among other Hindi movies.
