Fans cheer as Raftaar shows respect to Yo Yo Honey Singh on MTV Hustle Season 4, urging a contestant, Mad Trip, to sing the original lyrics mentioning Honey Singh in his radio hit song Kothi Bangle Wali.
The long-standing beef among the Mafia Mundeer members has intensified following recent interviews from Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh¡ªparticularly as both rappers claim writing the hit track Brown Rang. While Badshah, Raftaar, and Ikka seem united in their stance against Singh, fans were surprised to see Raftaar making a contestant of MTV Hustle season 4 revert back to his original lyrics which had Honey Singh's reference. By doing so, Raftaar has won the respect of fans.
Raftaar mentions Yo Yo Honey Singh on MTV Hustle Season 4
As contestant Mad Trip sang Kothi Bangle Wali, he alleged removed two lines from the song and changed them because of the judges and their tiff with Honey Singh. When Raftaar got to know about this, he asked the rapper to sing the original lines that mentioned "Yo-Yo" and "Desi Kalakar". Not just that, he also praised Singh for the hit track. As he did this, fans said, "Respect for Raftaar".
This isn't the first time Honey Singh's reference was used on the show. Jizzy and Talha, who are hosting MTV Hustle season 4, had cracked a joke in Honey Singh's name. In one of the episodes, Jasmeet aka Jizzy said, "Raftaar paaji ko dekh ke itni hope mil rahi hai, lag raha hai ki industry mein kuch logon ka comeback toh ho raha hai." He was massively trolled for the same as fans alleged he was disrespecting Yo Yo Honey Singh. Later, he issued an apology for the same.
For the unversed, the season 4 of MTV Hustle has begun and this time, Raftaar and Ikka have stepped in as judges while rappers EPR, Dino James and Dee MC continue to be squad bosses. Rapper RAGA has also joined the show as the new squad boss this season. The show has started airing on MTV and Jio Cinema since October 19. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm.
