Raj Kundra Case: Sherlyn Chopra Says She Was First To Give Statement To Maharashtra Cyber Cell
Taking a dig at Poonam Pandey, Sherlyn Chopra has given a statement on the Raj Kundra case. She said that she was the first one to be summoned and record statement to Maharashtra Cyber Cell.
After Raj Kundra's arrest, several people's names have cropped up and got entangled in the controversy. One of them is Sherlyn Chopra.
As per India Today, Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey were booked as accused in the pornography-related case for which Raj Kundra has now been remanded to judicial custody. Their statements have been recorded by Cyber Crime branch of Maharashtra Police.
The two actresses have reportedly made allegations against the businessman.
In a video released recently, Sherlyn Chopra has confirmed the same.
"The first person to record a statement with the Maharashtra cyber cell was me. The first person who gave details about Armsprime Media to Maharashtra cyber cell was me."
Taking a dig at Poonam Pandey, she added, "When I was summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell, I didn't go underground, or make statements like 'my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and the kids'. I didn't run away. In March 2021, I provided my statement to the cyber cell, at their offices."
"There is a lot to talk about, but because the matter is sub-judice, it would be inappropriate of me to make further comments at this point. I urge the media to put forth their question to the cyber cell, and if possible, request them to share excerpts of my statement. Thank you, jai Hind," she concluded.
