Siddharth Anand On Shah Rukh Khan's Eight-Pack Abs In Pathaan, 'He Was Game From The Get Go'
Pathaan director Siddharth Anand shares how Shah Rukh Khan got those dreamy eight-pack abs for his upcoming Hindi film.
Bollywood's most-loved Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 57th birthday on November 2. The actor was showered with much love from thousands of fans and followers, who flocked to his Mumbai house Mannat and burst firecrackers, and sang Badshah O Badshah outside his expensive bungalow to make him feel like a 'King.'
The good news is that Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the big screens with his feature film 'Pathaan' this year and fans are excited to watch the action-packed thriller, which has been written and helmed by director Siddharth Anand.
Makers have already released the trailer of 'Pathaan' on SRK's birthday and fans are stunned to see Shah Rukh's transformation as the actor flaunted his eight-pack abs. Well, this is not the first time as a few months back the actor shared a picture of his look from the film Pathaan that left many wanting more.
As reported by indianexpress.com, director Siddharth talked about the superstar's physical transformation for the much-anticipated movie Pathaan and said, "Shah Rukh Khan has pushed his body to breaking point for Pathaan. So, all the love that he is getting for Pathaan¡¯s teaser, he deserves all that and much more. I remember when I first met him on Pathaan, we discussed how physically challenging it will be for him and he was game from the get go and it shows on screen."
Siddharth also revealed that SRK wanted the adrenaline rush and wanted his fans and the audience to feel the same in his film.
The director further said that it's "incredibly commendable" the way SRK worked on his physical transformation, according to the media outlet.
"The way he built his body, the insane training that he has done to pull off the extremely dangerous stunts, the dangerous terrains and climatic conditions in which he has thrown his body to and the commitment that he has shown to give India its biggest action spectacle is incredibly commendable," he said.
He also added that there is no one like superstar Shah Rukh Khan and that people have to wait to see the film to witness his intensity with which the King of Bollywood has approached the film.
