'Made Us All Feel The Pride', Says Shah Rukh Khan As Family Hoists National Flag At Mannat
As Shah Rukh Khan joined Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, he hoisted the national flag along with his family and said that it made all of them feel pride.
After Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan joined the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to commemorate 75 years of the country's Independence. While fans were making #BoycottPathaan a trend on social media yesterday, he along with his family took pride in hoisting the national flag at Mannat.
Taking to Twitter, SRK shared his emotions on hoisting the national flag. He said he wanted to set an example for the young ones.
He wrote, "Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly."

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign saw a surge in demand for the tricolor.
"There has been unprecedented demand for the national flag this year. I have not seen such a demand in the last 16 years of my business. We are still receiving enquiries but we have to decline some of them at the last minute. We have already supplied 10 lakh pieces of the national flag and sales were bolstered by the Har Ghar Trianga campaign," Mumbai-based The Flag Company co-founder Dalvir Singh Nagi told PTI.
Raju Halder, another flag maker in West Bengal's Howrah district, said the 20-member labour force of his manufacturing unit is busy delivering orders.
Meanwhile, people on Twitter have been demanding a boycott of Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming movie Pathaan which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
This reportedly started after Kutch Sadhu Samaj president Sadhu Devnath, who is also the guru brother of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, appealed to sanatanis to boycott the movie.
"I am not against any movie, but against actors who flourish on Indian fan followers and abuse the nation," he was quoted as saying by IANS.
