Sherlyn Chopra Takes A Dig At Salman Khan Over Sajid Khan's Participation In Bigg Boss 16
Sherlyn Chopra says Salman Khan "could have protested" against #MeeToo accused Sajid Khan's participation in Bigg Boss 16.
Sajid Khan's entry into Bigg Boss 16 has stirred a massive controversy due to his background. The filmmaker who was earlier accused in the #MeToo movement has grabbed the spotlight once again after being out of work for four years, however, not for a positive reason.
Many have come out against Sajid Khan for participating in the Salman Khan-hosted TV reality show. The Bollywood filmmaker is currently facing public wrath as his old controversies have resurfaced.
After Delhi Commission of Women Swati Maliwal wrote to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur seeking the removal of Sajid Khan from the show, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a letter in support of Sajid stating that the filmmaker was banned for a year and has already served his punishment.
Even one of Sajid's victims Mandana Karimi decided to quit Bollywood after he was allowed to participate in the show.
Now, in the latest turn out of events, Sherlyn Chopra has revealed that Sajid Khan had flashed his private parts at her and has asked the superstar and host of Bigg Boss Salman Khan to take a stand.
In her latest tweet, Sherlyn revealed that Sajid had allegedly asked her to rate his private part on a scale of 0 to 10.
Taking to Twitter, Sherlyn wrote, ¡°I¡¯d like to enter into the house of Big Boss & give him the rating! Let India watch how a survivor deals with her molester." Reportedly, actress Sherlyn Chopra is also one of the victims of Sajid Khan who had accused him of sexual misconduct under the #MeToo movement.
During an interview with Filmibeat, actress Sherlyn expressed her anger over Sajid's entry into Bigg Boss house.
She questioned Salman Khan about how they even permitted Sajid (the molester) to enter the show after he had abused a girl and questioned the suffering all victims of Sajid went through after the horrifying experiences with him.
Taking a dig at Salman, Sherlyn said, "The message that's going out with this move of 'Bigg Boss' makers is that it's okay to molest a woman, to touch her inappropriately and to flash your private parts because at the end of it, you will be absolved in the eyes of public because you have big content makers and channels behind you."
She further added that she doesn't understand what has happened to the superstar. "How could he as such a big star allow this to happen. You call yourself a bhaijaan, can't you become bhaijaan to us wronged women. Are you just the bhaijaan of influential people and not outsiders like us?" she said as quoted by the Free Press Journal.
