Hindu Shivbhavani Sena has apparently put up several posters across Patna threatening the actress' family of trying to 'Islamify' the whole country. The poster reads, "Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding promotes love jihad. The wedding is a religious conspiracy under the garb of love. It aims to cause damage to the Hindu culture. Hindu Shivbhavani Sena won't let Sonakshi Sinha enter Bihar!"
Furthermore, the activists have asked Shatrughan Sinha to change the name of his home (Ramayan) and his sons (Luv and Kush) too. "Shatrughan Sinha must rethink his decision about the wedding. Or else, he must change the name of his sons Luv and Kush, and his house Ramayana. Isse ho raha hai Hindu dharm ka apmaan."
Shatrughan Sinha reacts
Reacting to trolls criticising her daughter, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha told Times Now, "A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say ¨C go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kucch nahi kehna (I have nothing else to say)."
Why Sonakshi's twin brothers Luv and Kush didn't attend the wedding?
Sonakshi's brothers Luv and Kush didn't attend the wedding. They weren't even seen at the reception. When HT asked Luv about the same, he said, "Please give it a day or two. I¡¯ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking."
What is Love Jihad?
Love Jihad is a controversial term used in India to describe an alleged campaign by Muslim men to convert Hindu women to Islam through marriage. The concept is widely debated, with critics arguing it is a baseless conspiracy theory used to incite religious tensions.
Is trolling Sonakshi Sinha right?
The Bollywood actress has the right to marry whoever she wants to and wherever she wants, even if the house is named Ramayana. If she chooses to wear black, red, or white doesn't make her less respectful of cultural norms. It is important to remember that milestones like weddings are deeply personal.
