On Tuesday, Tiger¡¯s mother, producer Ayesha Shroff, took to Instagram to share some "rare" photographs of her father, who fought in World War II.

Flight Lieutenant Ranjan Dutt, the father of Ayesha, can be seen in the photos alongside his teammates. One picture was shot while they practiced flying, while another showed them holding mugs.

Sharing the post, Tiger Shroff's mother Ayesha wrote,
"Tiger's grandfather training to fly Tiger Moths. I guess he was around 18 or 19 years old when he fought in World War 2. True grit and true courage. Decorated for his bravery by his India. I¡¯m proud to be his daughter. Jai Hind."

While discussing his origins, Tiger had previously claimed to have an "interesting genetic tadka."
While appearing as a guest on Arbaaz Khan¡¯s show Pinch, Tiger had said,
"My dad's dad is Gujarati. Dad's mom is Turkmenistani, a Mongolian-Chinese. She's a Muslim. Mom's mom is French, and mom's dad is Bengali. So I'm a mix of a lot of things, I don't know what that makes me."
The son of Bollywood superstar Jackie Shroff, Tiger also has a sister, Krishna Shroff.
He last appeared with Tara Sutaria in Heropanti 2. In his forthcoming movie Ganapath, he'll next be seen opposite Kriti Sanon. Vikas Bahl, a director. The film is backed by Vikas, Vashu, Deepshikha, and Jackky Bhagnani
Shroff's film is slated for release on December 23.
